Welcome to Clay in the City, featuring the work of Patty Jennings, Ann Lynch, Debb McDaniel, and Susan O’Leary. Having met at the Art Alliance of Greensboro, a community visual arts education program, we discovered a common love of clay. Together we have established Clay in the City as a means of sharing our pottery.
We feel fortunate to be part of our state’s clay tradition, as North Carolina enjoys a thriving community of potters. Our backgrounds are varied, our styles are different, and our inspirations are many. We each enjoy the art of clay and its social nature. Our forms are wheel-thrown, hand-built, or a combination of the two. They range from traditional to contemporary; functional to whimsical. We fire our pottery in electric, gas, raku, or wood kilns.

Throughout the year we take part in craft shows and festivals. Information can be found in our Events section about upcoming locations where our work will be shown.
